PEER plays catchy pop-rock with an edge and gets their inspiration from bands like Nothing But Thieves and Arctic Monkeys. Shortly after the release of their debut EP, PEER played international shows in the UK and Asia. After releasing their first album, the band kicked-off their first headline clubtour in a sold out Paradiso Amsterdam.

 

Their brand-new EP ‘WHEN THE LIGHTS GO DOWN’ was released on October 20th to raving reviews. With this EP, the band clearly shows a development in their sound whilst retaining their infectiousness and energy. The release was once again celebrated with a sold out show in Paradiso, Amsterdam.

 

Starting in March, PEER will be supporting Belgian singer and actress Pommelien Thijs on her international clubtour.

 

Songs from their previous EP Mad For It! and album Laughing About It Is Far More Exciting have been used in worldwide car commercials for MINI and Mercedes (The Mercedes commercial featured multiple formula-1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton) as well as the Japanese Netflix-show Terrace House. A song of theirs was also used in sports brand FILA’s commercial.
